FAQ
How long does it takes to get my photos?
It generally takes 3-4 weeks for me to complete editing and upload photos to your online gallery.
What should we wear to our shoot?
After booking your shoot in I will send you through a Style Guide which will help you plan and co-ordinate your outfits.
What time is best for our session?
Two words, GOLDEN HOUR. During daylight savings, starting the shoot around 3-4pm is perfect and after daylights savings around 5pm, why? Golden light! My outdoor sessions are always during this golden hour, and create that dreamy-light-filled feel to images
When is a good time for a maternity or newborn shoot?
Maternity shoots are best taken at the 30-36 week mark, for your comfort, mobility and a those beautiful bumps shots. For newborn sessions, I love photographing them at their most squishy, around the 1-2 week mark but with lifestyle sessions you can schedule a session up to the 6-8 weeks of age. Make sure you book your newborn session while you are still pregnant – at the moment I am booked a few weeks in advance.
What if the weather takes a turn for the worst?
If it is wet and soggy, we will reschedule. If it is hot, we will find some shade. If it is overcast but dry, we will go ahead as some of my favourite sessions have taken place on cloudy days.
What if my kids are having a bad day?
I am a Mum of 3 children, and there is not much that I haven't seen from my kids. So, don't worry, I know kids have bad days. I have a diploma in the art of distraction and use it all the time to get kids involved during the session. These sessions are fun and move quickly. I encourage silliness, and bad jokes. Your job is to relax and snuggle up to your family. I never rush the start of a session and take some time before I pull out me camera. I want your children to feel comfortable and will get to know them a little before we start.
